Phil Theisen- Power and Project Marketing
Phil joined RPMA in 2008 and RPMA Wind in 2010 and performs a variety of tasks including power marketing and energy contract development and review. Mr. Theisen has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a registered Professional Engineer in Wisconsin. He also has a law degree and is admitted to the Wisconsin Bar.

Mr. Theisen’s involvement in wind energy began in 1974 when he worked with a team recovering vintage wind turbines from homesteads in Western Canada. While pursuing his Master’s Degree, he ran the Anemometer Loan Program for the Wisconsin Department of Administration - Energy Office. Following receipt of his Master’s Degree, he joined Wisconsin Electric Power Company (d.b.a We Energies) (“WE”) and ran its anemometer loan program. At WE he held a variety of managerial positions and from 1998 until 2008, Mr. Theisen was a manager in WE’s Power Marketing Department, where he issued multiple requests for proposals for renewable energy, reviewed proposals, drafted and negotiated power purchase agreements, and administered renewable energy contracts.

Phil is married with four children and currently resides in Mequon, Wisconsin.
